The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is Capable of 200 MPH quoting Sudbury

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 managed to hit 202.3 mph in one direction on the 7.6-mile long high-speed oval at Germanys Automotive Testing Papenburg proving ground. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 starts at $63,435 (including $995 destination and $1,300 gas guzzler tax) when equipped with the six-speed manual, and $65,830 with the 10-speed automatic (including destination and $2,100 gas guzzler tax). "Its the most capable â€" and fastest â€" Camaro ever," said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer, in a release. When Motor Trend tested this fast brute, the Camaro hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and completed the quarter mile in an impressive 11.5 seconds at 125 mph. The ZL1 recorded a top result of 193.3 mph running in the other direction.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 features a supercharged, 6.2-litre LT4 V8 that develops 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, connected to a rev-matching six-speed manual or the aforementioned 10-speed automatic.
